VLD: PROJECT DEVELOPMENT ENVIRONMENT

MOTIVATION: Having an environment combining various image processing and visualization libraries is desirable for most of the researchers including me. Furthermore, the professional development environments used today are generally not free, and the free ones are not quite well documented. So, I decided to develop my own environment bringing many image processing libraries including ITK, ENLAB (mine) with many visualization libraries including VTK, IVT (SCR's) together under a unique MFC based framework called VLD.

INFO: I implemented the following tools for coronary visualization and heart chamber segmentation by using open inventor. I did not involve into the algorithmic development phase for these two projects, therefore I may not give the mathematical details. However, you may contact me for discussing the visualization techniques and tricks.
